At the heart of our approach is an integrated view of Philosophy of Design and Ethics as vehicles for critical and sustainable thinking across all disciplines. ADES functions as a co-lab for design as a Productive Science, Design Philosophy and methodology. Our students apply a multidisciplinary approach to theoretical and practical problem solving.

transdisciplinary THEME-BASED MODULES

We build our study programme on interdisciplinary theme based modules.

The students work together to frame and solve a challenge within the given theme, under the guidance of instructors. The idea of exploring how scientific and technological discoveries, developments and processes can be best applied to benefit humanity and the environment is at the top of the agenda.
